Run a Race

Get on your sneakers and RUN! Running is a great way to get exercise and get outdoors. Set a goal for yourself and work towards it!

Do you finding running difficult. Then start small. Maybe walk for a bit and jog sections.

How To:

  1. If you are new to running you may wish to first set a goal and running schedule for yourself.

  2. Start training and working towards your goal.

  3. Sign up for a race - there are lots of options in this area. Can't find one? organize one between your friends. A race is a race!! Maybe, challenge yourself... - join the cross country team at school, or even sign up for the Tely 10!

  4. Participate in the race!

  5. In your journal, write about the race you participated in. How did you do? What are your future race goals?
